ETNA works in collaboration with the ATIS4All Thematic Network, forming the ETNATIS Cluster. The clustering between ATIS4all and ETNA will lead to a joint portal named “EASTIN 2.0” – an evolution of the the current Portal of the European Assistive Technology Information Network – which is currently being developed in a password-protected test environment.

On the one hand, ETNA takes advantage of its foundations (the EASTIN network, the EASTIN web services, the OATSoft resources) to develop a search engine application that enables users, professionals and all stakeholder involved to access the information and the repository, through a multilingual interface.

On the other hand, ATIS4all focuses on building Web 2.0 applications to generate an active online community, thus providing the tools for open discussion among users, professionals and all stakeholders involved, for rating and commenting the items (provided by the ETNA’s search engine application), for obtaining responses of professionals and end users, facilitating the search of information, providing information related to specific environments (e.g. workplace, education, eHealth) etc.
